Yesterday I was cutting up the plastic rings from a six pack of soda and a co-worker asked what I was doing? I grew up around the Great Lakes and we learned early that six-pack rings maime and kill wildlife (and can last up to 450 years). The penguin in the movie Happy Feet was freed from the plastic ring that was strangling him but not all animals are as lucky. Be a responsible recycler and cut up those rings before you put them in the recycle bin. It's easy enough to do and you could save a life doing it!
