Expanding the Conversation...Finally

Wow the past two weeks had blown by and has offered us a wealth of information about our environment and global warming, a great concert and in my case a lot of great publicity about the work we are doing here in Phoenix.

To start with on 7/7/7 the Live Earth concert ushered in a new perspective on what we can do to walk more lightly on the planet. From its plethora of celebrities touting just what you can do to all the great music it was in my humble opinion a turning point in global awareness about how we live.

Then shortly after that the Phoenix Business Journal published a story about the great work we are doing with the TV show and here at the Urban Farm. Here is the link to the Business Journal

And today I get a call from my good friend Steve Pressler. He said have you seen the Northeast Phoenix Times? You are on the front cover…The picture is of me with my legs crossed and the Urban Farm garden in the background. The caption reads “The Green Extreme…Once Kooky tree huggers are today’s green gurus.” My mom recently commented that THEY have finally caught up with me as I have a deep history of talking about organic gardening, sustainable farming and green technologies.

Or me this is finally an acknowledgement of 25 years of hard work. Thanks to everyone for your continued support and love along the way.

And as always when people tell me “sorry I have not made it to one of your events yet” I just tell them I’ll keep doing it because I can’t help myself.
