A Visit with Rainwater/Greywater
Guru Brad Lancaster
Hi everyone,
This week I visited with my friend Brad Lancaster at his home in central Tucson, Arizona. I was fascinated with the clothes washer greywater system he has installed in his yard. Yes, that's the backyard.
Greywater is the water that goes down most of the drains in your home (from showers, bathroom sinks and your clothes washer) and it is a great resource for watering your landscape. The design of the system is what makes it work into the future - no moving parts and no storing of greywater.
Join me as Brad shares how he waters his fruit trees with his laundry water. Enjoy the show!
Greywater Finds from Our Store...plus a great T:
Oasis Laundry Detergent (1 Gal.) is one of the best green detergents for any home and is particularly suited for greywater use, due to the lack of sodium in the ingredients.
Create an Oasis with Greywater, by Art Ludwig describes how to quickly and easily choose, build, and use a simple greywater system. Some can be completed in an afternoon for under $30.
And our unique Earth Heart Women's T, from It's Your Mother Calling, fits great and is sure to get noticed. Be sure to browse our entire IYMC Lineup.
