Hey all,
Welcome to our first-ever Weekly Video E-nnovation! We're excited about our new format and hope you enjoy the show!
For those of you that know me or have read my blog, you know how much I love fruit trees. So much so that I have over 80 fruit trees planted at the Urban Farm and another 60 or so planted in my neighborhood! A big part of how we manage these trees is that we keep them small with a process called "Urban Orcharding". We prune them from a very early age and then keep up with the pruning every year.
Watch the video to see how it's done!
Also check out this week's article on Back Yard Orchard Culture. You'll find a wealth of information there on creating a bountiful orchard within the boundries of your back yard.
We also have several items from our store to get you started as well. The Cobrahead Garden Tool is. You can have a garden (or orchard) wherever you live! Grow Wherever You Go shows you how. Learn the ins and outs of having a perfect orchard with The Backyard Orchardist.
Have a great green day!
