What would it take to cumulatively reduce the use of one billion plastic bottles, plastic bags, incandescent bulbs and other plastic items nationwide/worldwide? What would the effect be? Well that is our goal and we want your help in doing it! Take the challenge and commit to alternatives to using plastic bottles, plastic bags and change out your light bulbs…
1. The Challenge: Starting today alter your use of plastic bottles, bags, cups, lids, straws and change out your most-used light bulbs to high efficiency CFL’s or LEDs. Pay attention to what you use when you go to the grocery store or restaurant and make a different choice. We will be feeding you lots of idea on how to go about doing this.
OK, OK so I am asking you to change how you think about plastic. I am not however asking you to suffer. In fact I tell people that my definition does NOT include suffering. If you always use a straw and that’s the way you like it, go for it. I am just asking you to watch your choices, pay attention and don’t take the extra napkin or plastic bag.
Just say no to plastic, bags, bottles and other plastic items. More information to arrive here soon….
