Over 380 billion plastic bags, sacks and wraps are used in the U.S. each year, and 1 trillion worldwide - over one million per minute! Billions of plastic bags end up as litter each year. What can we do? Practice BYOB – bring your own bag to the store.
That equates to 1267 plastic bags per person living in the US per year.
