The Super Food That Gives Back
By Kathleen Davidson

"The future of nutrition is found in the ocean."
Jacque Cousteau

Scientists at NASA theorize that some 3 1/2 billion years ago, the world was changed forever. The appearance of tiny organisms with the ability to convert sunlight, warmth, water and minerals into protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and amino acids marked the beginning of life. These single-cell plants, marine phytoplankton, are the basis of all other life forms on planet earth; they are the 'vegetation' of the ocean.

NASA states that marine phytoplankton is responsible for up to 90 percent of Earth's oxygen. A university in Spain , studying bio-fuel sources, reports that these tiny organisms contain 400 times more energy than any plant source on earth.

Marine Phytoplankton is the food utilized by the world's largest and longest living mammals and fish. Until now this food source has eluded mankind. Tom Harper, a sea farmer in British Columbia created a 30-million-dollar facility on the edge of the Northern Pacific Ocean to grow marine phytoplankton year round to feed his shellfish. He has a patent-pending process that recreates the "Spring Bloom" of marine phytoplankton 365 days a year. This takes place in million-gallon seawater tanks on the edge of a very pristine ocean. In the growing and filtrating of the plankton, Harper recycles the water back into the ocean and replaces 4 to 5 more marine phytoplankton back into the ocean than what he took out, thereby restoring our oceans with this viable food and oxygen source.

When he developed a serious health challenge whereby doctors gave him only months to live, he decided to start eating "his marine phytoplankton" thinking "if it is good for my fish, why not me?" Needless to say, it worked and he is healthy today.

Marine Phytoplankton is perfect nutrition for our cells. Dr. Jerry Tennant, M.D., states, "There are very few products that provide all, or even most of the raw materials to make new cells and sustain the existing ones. The problem is that we need all of them at the same time for things to work. One of those rare products that contain almost everything you need for life (and rebuilding healthy life) is marine phytoplankton."

Marine Phytoplankton contains many of the Essential Amino Acids, Omega oils, Vitamins and Minerals that the body needs in a concentrated, microscopic and therefore bio-available form. A number of phytoplankton products are now available.
