Corn-Based Biodegradable Bottle w/ Carbon Filter

"I had one of the self-filtering corn-based water bottles the first part of the summer, and I used it every day. It was terrific to be able to put tap water from anywhere into the bottle and just go---right up until I left the bottle on the front seat of the car in the sun...
The biodegradable bottle did not leak, but it shrivelled up on the side that was directly in the sun. Treat these bottles as you would your CDs or DVDs!
I'm going to buy a couple more, now, because I'm going on a cruise. We've all heard about people coming down with Norwalk virus on cruises; it can be spread via drinking water, so I'm going to filter my own drinking water!"

"These are the best water bottles I've ever bought. Not only are they easy to use, they make my terrible tap water taste wonderful. I take one with me to use during workout class, on bike rides and I carry one wherever I go. It feels so good to be using a plastic bottle that will decompose and that doesn't use petroleum-based plastic."

"I love having these bottles on hand when my kids and I are out and about. We can fill them up at any sink or drinking fountain without consuming nasty chlorine or unknown chemicals. My oldest son brings a water bottle to school every day. I like sending these because I'm not out a ton of money if he loses it, and I don't feel guilty replacing the bottle because I know it will decompose quickly. I'm buying bottles for teacher's gifts as well. I think they make great useful gifts for anybody. Who wants to consume chlorine?? I would recommend reducing the exposure to the sun though. I left one in the car for a few days and it melted..."
